Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the OceanDimana website at oceandimana.com. It does not cover other companies' websites we link to, or third-party services that keep their own separate policies. Our JellyFix app is covered briefly below.

Information we collect

OceanDimana is a static, read-only website. There are no accounts, no logins, and no sign-in, so we do not ask you to create a profile or hand over personal details to read the guides. The limited information involved is:

• Aggregate analytics. We use privacy-conscious analytics, served through our host Cloudflare, to understand how many people visit, which pages are useful, and roughly where and on what kind of device visitors read. This is aggregate and statistical — it is not used to build a personal profile of you.
• Server logs. Like any website, our hosting keeps standard technical logs — such as IP address, timestamp, and the page requested — which are used to keep the site secure and diagnose problems.
• Newsletter email. If you choose to subscribe to a newsletter, we collect the email address you give us so we can send updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses minimal cookies and privacy-conscious measurement to make the analytics above work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work without them. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not show ads.

How we use information

We use the limited data described above only to:

• understand which content is helpful and improve the guides;
• keep the site secure and working;
• send the newsletter, if and only if you have subscribed.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Third-party services and links

We rely on Cloudflare for hosting and analytics. We also link out to external sites — camera manufacturers, dive resources, and reviews — which have their own privacy policies that we do not control. If you follow a link off OceanDimana, that site's policy applies.

The JellyFix app

JellyFix, our underwater photo restoration app, is separate from this website. It processes your photos on your device, and your images are never uploaded to us. The app has its own policy covering permissions, on-device processing, and purchases — see theJellyFix app privacy policy.

Children's privacy

OceanDimana is a general-audience site about diving and photography and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, and block cookies in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you — if so, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
