What the site covers
Water changes light before it reaches your camera, and most underwater photo problems trace back to that. We cover the whole chain — why color disappears with depth, how white balance and lighting work below the surface, which cameras and housings hold up, how to edit and restore images afterward, and where to dive. Every article aims to answer a real question a diver would ask.
About JellyFix
JellyFix is our own underwater photo restoration app. It models how water absorbs color with depth and rebuilds a natural-looking image on your phone, for photos and footage from cameras like the GoPro, DJI Osmo Action, and Insta360. We write about it where it's relevant, but the guides come first.
